BAŞARAN BAYRAK

Graduated from the Faculty of Communications at Marmara University in 1982 and is one of the founding members of ÇEKSAN Shipyard, established in 1981. Over his long career in the maritime and shipbuilding industries, he has played a leading role in shipyard management, maritime transportation, and sectoral organisations.

He currently serves as Chairman of ÇEKSAN Shipyard and Neo Tanker BV, while also holding executive positions within the family holding and affiliated companies. His responsibilities include the strategic management of shipyard operations, fleet investments, international business development, and the supervision of advanced shipbuilding projects.

Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the development of the Turkish shipbuilding industry through leadership roles in professional maritime organisations, including the Turkish Ship, Yacht and Marine Services Exporters' Association, Türkiye Exporters Assembly, and the Turkish Chamber of Shipping.

He has been actively involved in the construction and development of specialised vessels, particularly chemical tankers and environmentally focused shipbuilding projects.

CİHAN BAYRAK

Graduated from the Naval Architecture program at the Newcastle University in 2005 and has been actively working in the shipbuilding industry since then. Throughout his career, he has held positions including Project Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, Management Representative, and Operations Manager.

He currently serves as General Manager of ÇEKSAN Shipyard, overseeing shipyard operations, coordinating ship design and production processes, and ensuring compliance with international classification standards.

His work has focused on developing engineering solutions that enhance efficiency and performance, while contributing to innovative and environmentally sustainable vessel projects. Key areas of expertise include low-emission methanol-ready vessels, high-efficiency chemical tanker designs, energy-efficiency projects, and ERP system implementation and optimization.

ERHAN BAYRAK

Born in Istanbul in 1987, Erhan Bayrak began his professional journey in the maritime industry at Pendik Anatolian Maritime Vocational High School, majoring in Ship Construction. He further consolidated his technical expertise by graduating from Kocaeli University, Karamürsel Vocational School with a degree in Ship Construction.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial and logistical dynamics of the sector, he successfully completed the Ship Brokerage Program jointly organized by Piri Reis University and the Ship Brokers Association in 2012.

Throughout his career, Bayrak has gained extensive experience in shipyard and vessel management procurement operations. Today, he continues his professional work in the maritime industry, leveraging his strong technical background alongside his operational and commercial expertise.

ORHAN BAYRAK

Mr. Orhan Bayrak graduated from the Marine Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty in 2018. Following his graduation, he successfully completed his MSc in Software Development at the University of Strathclyde.

He subsequently served within the Group companies as a Technical Superintendent.

Mr. Bayrak currently serves as Repair and Maintenance Manager at Çeksan Shipyard and is also a Member of the Board.
