This statement is issued on behalf of the Başaran Bayrak family and the companies directly or indirectly controlled by members of the family, including Çeksan Gemi İnşa, Çelik Konstrüksiyon Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

All commercial, financial, corporate, social, personal and familial relationships between the Başaran Bayrak family and Mr. Ilhan Bayrak and his children have been fully and irrevocably terminated.

With immediate effect, Mr. Ilhan Bayrak and his children have no authority to represent the Başaran Bayrak family, our companies or our vessels, nor to enter into commitments, execute agreements, conduct negotiations or make any statement on our behalf. Likewise, our companies and affiliated entities accept no responsibility whatsoever for any activities, representations, commitments or business dealings undertaken by Mr. Ilhan Bayrak and his children.

For the purpose of ensuring that our stakeholders are accurately informed, we further wish to clarify that the corporate history of our companies and vessels, together with our completed vessels, shipbuilding projects, customer portfolio, customer references, technical know-how, engineering expertise, commercial reputation, brand value, intellectual property rights and all other tangible and intangible assets, have been developed over many years and belong exclusively to their respective owners.

Any use, presentation or representation of our companies' or our vessels' know-how, references, corporate history, project information or any other intellectual or commercial rights by any individual or entity in a manner that creates the impression of an existing affiliation, continuity, representation or corporate relationship with the Başaran Bayrak family, our companies or our vessels is unauthorised and will not be accepted.

We expressly reserve all civil, commercial and criminal rights and remedies relating to the protection of all tangible and intangible, intellectual and commercial rights associated with our companies and our vessels.

We respectfully request that our customers, business partners, financial institutions, classification societies, flag administrations, suppliers and all other stakeholders rely solely upon official statements issued by us.
