Responsibility to Clients

All Neotanker employees shall diligently and honestly pursue the legitimate objectives of our clients. Under no circumstances shall personal interests override client needs in the execution of assigned duties.

Responsibility to Employees

Neotanker strictly prohibits discrimination based on race, color, age, gender, religion, sect, or national origin. Every individual must be treated with dignity and respect. Employees shall not be subjected to unreasonable interference in the performance of their duties.

All personnel are expected to act in accordance with established principles, laws, and standards:

  • Never engage in harassment, abuse, discrimination, or any form of exploitation.
  • Never conceal unsafe acts or events that could impact health, safety, environment, or property.
  • Perform duties impartially, with honesty and good faith.
  • Treat all operational and project-related information as confidential, unless disclosure is authorized by company policy.

Sensitive Transactions

Neotanker and its employees shall not engage in any activity that is illegal, unethical, immoral, or that could compromise the integrity of the company or its cybersecurity.

Bribery and Corruption

Neotanker enforces a strict anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy:

  • No commercial bribes, kickbacks, or improper benefits shall be offered or accepted.
  • Employees and agents are prohibited from receiving anything of significant value beyond standard compensation.
  • All procurement activities must be conducted fairly and transparently.

Confidentiality and Data Privacy

Neotanker prohibits the disclosure of confidential or proprietary information to third parties without authorization. This includes virtual, written, audio, and social media channels, both during and after employment.

Conflict of Interest

Prior to accepting any engagement, Neotanker shall disclose any known or potential conflicts of interest between clients, employees, suppliers, or agents. Any conflict arising during service must be promptly reported.

Fair Play and Just Culture

Neotanker commits to fair dealings with clients, competitors, suppliers, and employees. Unfair practices such as manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, or misrepresentation are strictly prohibited.

Human Rights

Neotanker upholds the principles of equality and respect for fundamental rights in line with the Human Rights Policy, MLC, and international conventions. No individual shall be subjected to torture, inhuman treatment, or discrimination.

Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorist Financing

Neotanker complies with OFAC, OFSI, AMSA, DFAT, EU, and Paris MoU requirements. All business partners are screened against updated sanctions lists to prevent dealings with prohibited entities.

Child Labour and Modern Slavery

Neotanker strictly prohibits child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking across its operations and supply chain. Compliance with ILO Conventions 138 & 182, MLC, and applicable laws is mandatory.

Cybersecurity & Information Protection

Neotanker enforces robust cybersecurity measures to protect operational data, client information, and proprietary systems from unauthorized access or breaches.

Whistleblowing & Confidential Reporting

Employees may report unethical behavior, safety violations, or compliance concerns without fear of retaliation. Neotanker guarantees confidentiality and protection against adverse employment actions for whistleblowers.

Compliance with International Conventions

Neotanker adheres to ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, MLC, and other applicable international maritime regulations to ensure ethical and lawful operations.
